I have a new laptop
windows 10 64b
to be sure i have uninstall  skype even though i could have changed the port i know..

installed ampps in C:/ folder ..

after installation try and run it press home or admin panel and the error apear see  pictures...

I also snapped a Apache error  log  picture see it attached...

I have no clue  should it be easy in 2015 to install a software and yet i do think is a problem with permission of some sort ..Am I wrong??

Hi,

You are facing this issue because Apache unable to find php-cgi.exe

Try this

Open /path/to/Ampps/softaculous/enduser/index.php and edit php-cgi path.

If you have selected PHP 5.3 then set path to
#!"C:\Ampps\php\php-cgi.exe"

If other than PHP 5.3 is selected then set path to
#!"C:\Ampps\php-5.3\php-cgi.exe"

Now restart AMPPS.

This issue is fixed in AMPPS 3.4. In 3.4 version just change PHP version and click on restore default configuration.
