 Backup Error in Webuzo, Error in Creating Tar file During Full backup - home Backup (2 Replies, Read 11448 times)

Hi,

While taking full backup and home backup in webuzo, it gave me an error, that says "There were some errors while creating the tar file
[Mon Jul 31 01:46:37 2017] Backup process completed with errors !
[Mon Jul 31 01:46:37 2017] Sending email to user !"

when i tried taking backup from backend, it gave me the below mentioned error.
"tar: Removing leading `/' from member names
tar: /home/server/public_html/iilfd/frontend/web/log-files/cron: file changed as we read it
tar: /home/server/.softaculous/status: file changed as we read it
tar: /home/server/.softaculous: file changed as we read it"


I am not able to take any of the backups for this month for home and full, previously i was able to take backups.

Similar issue with me.  I try to do a full backup and it fails because "file changed as we read it" - in particular when mail is received.

Surely there is a way to avoid this from happening ?

Hi,
From the error it seems that, some of your files were getting modified while the backup process was in progress. Can you try taking manual backup?
Also when did you start getting the error?
Let us know.
