Sitemagic CMS proved to be the ideal CMS for building our website. We were mainly looking for these features:
1) Pages with WYSIWYG-editor
2) Good file manager
3) Easy menu management
But it was also important to us that we were able to adjust the design. Sitemagic ships with about 10 designs that can be modified using the Designer. It is based on CSS, but it was actually quite easy to figure out how to modify it.
4 out of 5 stars!

I stumbled upon Sitemagic CMS a couple of days ago. I was searching for a CMS that was easy to build design templates for. These guides explained it really well, and I found Sitemagic CMS to be the easiest CMS I have ever come across to build design templates (themes) for - wow! Good beginners guide: sitemagic.org/developers/TplIntro.html

Very nice and user friendly CMS. Install it using Softaculous, and then upgrade it to the beta (see their Facebook page) - it is incredible. It goes way beyond what can be achieved with other CMS systems in half an hour.

Sitemagic gives you a lot of flexibility and is very intuitive. I liked that I could easily modify a template and save it as my own.
It is also easy to include my own images into the system, which is common, but not always easy to implement into your pages.

As a complete beginner I managed to design a very clean, modern, functional and attractive website which will grow as the business will develop. I haven't even read any guides, as the navigation turned out to be easy and intuitive. Excellent piece of software!!
