This page will guide you to add WebDAV as your backup location in Softaculous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong> : Backup on WebDAV feature has been added since Softaculous version 5.5.4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following guide will show you how to add WebDAV backup location in Softaculous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Go to Softaculous Enduser -> Edit Settings -> Click on Add Backup Location<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Choose Location Name<\/strong> for your reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Select Protocol as WebDAV<\/strong> from the dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Enter your WebDAV server hostname or domain or IP in the Server Host<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5) Enter the Port<\/strong> to connect your WebDAV server. Default port for secure connection is 443 and insecure connection is 80.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) Enter your WebDAV Username<\/strong> which should be used to authenticate while connecting to your WebDAV server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7) Enter your WebDAV Password<\/strong> which should be used to authenticate while connecting to your WebDAV server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8) Backup Location<\/strong> : Enter the directory in which Softaculous should create the backups. E.g. \/backups<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9) Click on Add Backup Location<\/strong> button to add the location in Softaculous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10) That’s it !
