This page will guide you to add Amazon S3 as your backup location in Softaculous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>: Backup on Amazon S3 feature has been added since Softaculous version 5.7.3<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following guide will show you how to add an Amazon S3 backup location in Softaculous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Go to Softaculous Enduser -> Edit Settings -> Click on Add Backup Location<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Choose a Location Name<\/strong> for your reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Select Protocol as Amazon S3<\/strong> from the Protocol list dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Enter your AWS S3 Endpoint<\/strong> e.g. “s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com”, More info about AWS S3 Endpoint: https:\/\/docs.aws.amazon.com\/general\/latest\/gr\/s3.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5) Enter your AWS S3 Region<\/strong> e.g. “us-east-1”, More Info about AWS https:\/\/docs.aws.amazon.com\/general\/latest\/gr\/s3.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) Enter your AWS S3 Access Key<\/strong> which should be used to authenticate while connecting to your Amazon S3 server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7) Enter your AWS S3 Secret Key <\/strong>which should be used to authenticate while connecting to your Amazon S3 Server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8) Enter Your AWS S3 Bucket Name<\/strong> where you wish to create softaculous backups. If the bucket is not present then it will be created automatically<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9) Backup Location<\/strong>: Enter the directory in which Softaculous should create the backups. E.g. \/backups<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10) Click on Add Backup Location<\/strong> button to add the location in Softaculous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11) That’s it!
