Hence we decided to write up an article which explains the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note : <\/strong>In order to install Softaculous you should have a control panel installed on your VPS. E.g. cPanel, Directadmin, Plesk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Enable Ioncube in 3rd Party PHP binary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Login to your <strong>WHM<\/strong> as root user and go to <strong>Tweak Settings<\/strong> page<\/li><li>Go to <strong>PHP<\/strong> tab<\/li><li>Select the <strong>Ioncube <\/strong>checkbox<\/li><li>Click on <strong>Save<\/strong> button<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.softaculous.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/whm-enable-ioncube-1024x582.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3175\" width=\"600\" height=\"320\"\/><figcaption>Enable Ioncube from WHM<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. SSH to your VPS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>SSH to the VPS as the user you had chosen while setting up the VPS (GoDaddy does not allow to setup SSH access with root user).<\/li><li>Execute the following command to escalate as root user <\/li><li><strong>sudo su<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.softaculous.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/sudo-ssh.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3172\" width=\"498\" height=\"314\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.softaculous.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/sudo-ssh.png 664w, https:\/\/www.softaculous.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/sudo-ssh-300x189.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px\" \/><figcaption>SSH as user and escalate as root<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Softaculous Install Commands<br><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you have successfully logged in your server we will start with Softaculous installation.
