Here is the guide :<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.softaculous.com\/docs\/How_to_upgrade_installations\" href=\"http:\/\/www.softaculous.com\/docs\/How_to_upgrade_installations\" target=\"_blank\">Update WordPress<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The WordPress security team resolved three security issues, and this release also contains some additional security hardening.<\/p>\n<p>The security fixes include :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Block unsafe PHP unserialization that could occur in limited situations and setups, which can lead to remote code execution.<\/li>\n<li>Prevent a user with an Author role, using a specially crafted request, from being able to create a post \u201cwritten by\u201d another user.<\/li>\n<li>Fix insufficient input validation that could result in redirecting or leading a user to another website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The additional security hardening include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updated security restrictions around file uploads to mitigate the potential for cross-site scripting.
