1) [Bug Fix] Backups failed on older cPanel Versions. This has been fixed.

– Affected Systems: cPanel servers running WHM 118.0.15 and lower.

– Cause: A compatibility conflict involving PHP 8.1 and outdated ionCube v12.x loaders in cPanel’s 3rd party PHP binary with a change introduced in Softaculous 6.2.9 released on 2nd December 2025

– Resolution: This has been fixed and backups are now executing correctly on all supported versions.

The Pagelayer team has released version 2.0.7
The following is a list of changes :

1) [Task] Tested compatibility with WordPress 6.9.
2) [Bug-Fix] In some cases, after adding the templates widget, the page/post data in the PageLayer editor was not saved properly. This is fixed.
3) [Bug-Fix] There was some PHP warnings. This is fixed.
4) [Bug-Fix] Mobile breakpoints increased to 480px.

We will be launching many more changes in the upcoming version.

3) [Bug Fix] When moving a WordPress site to a new location manually (without using Softaculous) the SoftWP license was not issued for the new URL when only CookieAdmin plugin was used. This is fixed now and a new license will be generated via CRON if the new site is present in Softaculous records.

4) [Bug Fix] In rare cases, the backup of a site with very large database failed in Softaculous Remote. This is fixed now.

5) [Bug Fix] Improved PHP version detection in ispmanager with custom PHP builds. This is fixed.
