only issue is this record shows up to end clients and is editable unlike ns1 & ns2 which are hidden from them. but at least webuzo is creating properly authorised dns zones.

Altering the TTL on the "default._domainkey.domain_name." entry in the DNS template fails with error "Invalid selector in name field"

Sounds like the entry is being validated if it were a real DNS zone instead of a template.
