I agree Moodle will allow you to install in such a setup as it does not have any method to check if the Moodle data directory and the core files directory is web accessible or not.

However Moodle does state in their documentation clearly that both the data directory and core files should be placed outside the web accessible folder as it contains sensitive information.

Hence Softaculous cannot allow to place these files in a web accessible folder when Softaculous can check the paths and determine if they we are web accessible or not.

The PTR issue mainly affects outgoing mail from your server. If your ISP does not allow the PTR/rDNS to point to your mail server hostname, you can configure your ISP's SMTP server (smarthost/relay) for outgoing emails instead of sending directly from your server.

For incoming mail, your MX record can still point to your Webuzo mail server, so incoming delivery should work normally.

You can ask your ISP for their SMTP relay hostname, port, and authentication requirements.
