If you have been collecting ARC Raiders BluePrints, improving your equipment, and completing quests, it is worth looking at your account before committing to anything. The choice between keeping your progress and starting the new Expedition route can affect how you spend the weeks leading into the Frozen Trail expansion.
Keeping Your Existing Progress
For players who are comfortable with their current character, opting out of the reset is probably the easiest route. You can keep working through your existing quests instead of rebuilding levels, skills, and crafting-related progression from the beginning.
This approach is especially useful for players who would rather spend their time farming materials and preparing for the next major update. The Frozen Trail expansion is scheduled for October 8, so there is a relatively short window in which to strengthen your character and organize your inventory.
There is no reason to reset simply because a new Expedition becomes available. If your current build works well and you have already invested a lot of time into progression, keeping that progress can be the more practical choice.
Why Some Players Will Reset
The reset option exists for a reason, though. Players who choose to restart can experience the updated progression path and work toward the exclusive Zenith Outfit.
Completing the fifth personal Expedition permanently unlocks that cosmetic reward. For collectors, completionists, or players who enjoy starting over with a clear progression goal, this could make the additional work worthwhile.
The important thing is understanding what actually gets reset. Character-specific progression such as levels, skills, and crafting inventory can be affected, but cosmetics, achievements, and real-money purchases remain safe.
That means the decision is not about completely rebuilding your account from nothing. It is about deciding whether the new progression experience and its exclusive reward justify giving up your current gameplay progress.
Reach Level 25
Your character level should also be part of your September preparation.
Reaching Level 25 unlocks access to Ermal's ARC material trading system. If you are currently below that level, pushing toward the threshold before or during this period can open another useful way to turn your accumulated resources into rewards.
Ermal does not operate like a standard Coin-based merchant. His system revolves around exchanging ARC materials and gear, giving players another reason to hold onto useful resources rather than automatically selling everything.
For players who regularly run extraction missions, this can make inventory decisions more meaningful. Materials that seem unimportant during one session may become useful when a particular trade becomes available.
Use Ermal Vouchers
Ermal's offers rotate weekly, so keeping an eye on his current selection is important. The Expedition system is also scheduled to be paused after September 29, which gives these vouchers a limited practical window.
Instead of treating vouchers as something that can be saved forever, check what is available and use or convert them when the opportunity makes sense. There is little value in accumulating a resource if the system that uses it is about to leave its active phase.
This is also a good time to review your storage. Separate materials needed for future crafting from resources that can be exchanged, and avoid filling valuable slots with items you have no realistic plan to use.
Prepare With the Expedition Vault
The Expedition Vault is another feature worth using during this transition. It gives players a safer way to carry important assets through their Expedition activities.
That can be helpful when you are preparing for several runs around a particular objective. Instead of constantly moving everything around or risking valuable materials without a plan, you can keep essential resources organized and ready for future use.
Good inventory management will become even more important as the game moves toward its larger structural changes. Spending a few minutes organizing your storage now can save considerable frustration later.
Think About Frozen Trail
The October 8 Frozen Trail expansion is the bigger reason to prepare carefully. The update is expected to bring a large snow-covered map, reworked Skill Trees, customizable Outpost spaces, and more demanding ARC Operations.
That makes character preparation more than a short-term Expedition concern. Stronger progression, useful skills, and a sensible inventory can give you a better starting position when the new content arrives.
Perks such as Security Breach in the Survival tree are worth considering if they fit the way you normally play. You do not need to create a perfect build immediately, but spending skill points with the upcoming difficulty in mind is better than making decisions randomly.
Make the Account Decision Early
If you are planning to keep your existing progression, the period before September 8 is a good opportunity to finish useful quests, farm resources, and reach Level 25. If you want the Zenith Outfit, make sure you understand the reset before choosing the fifth Expedition route.
For players who want to supplement their preparation with additional resources, ARC Raiders Loot for sale can also be considered as part of their wider account planning, particularly when preparing for future content.
A Better Start for October
The most important thing is not choosing the option that other players consider best. It is choosing the path that matches how much progression you have already completed and what you want from the fifth Expedition. A player chasing the Zenith Outfit has different priorities from someone who simply wants to enter Frozen Trail with a well-developed character.
September 8 is therefore best viewed as a planning checkpoint. Review your level, skills, inventory, vouchers, and Expedition goals before making the decision. A little preparation now can make the transition into the next phase of ARC Raiders much smoother.

Understanding The Build
Penetrating Shot is the central damage skill because it combines long-range attacks with excellent area coverage. When enemies are positioned correctly, one projectile can pass through several targets and generate additional arrows.
The build uses Shadow Imbuement for fast clearing and Cold Imbuement for tougher encounters. Shadow is especially useful when large packs are present because explosions can spread damage between nearby enemies. Cold provides control and helps the Rogue handle elites and bosses more comfortably.
Combo Points are an important part of the setup. The player should use the Basic skill three times before releasing Penetrating Shot. This creates a powerful burst cycle and makes the build feel more rewarding than simply spamming the Core skill.
Skill Tree Priorities
Forceful Arrow is a reliable Basic skill for this setup. Its upgrades make it easier to apply Vulnerable, helping the rest of the build reach its full potential.
Five points should be invested in Penetrating Shot, along with its Enhanced and Advanced upgrades. The skill is the main source of damage, so maximizing its effectiveness should be a priority.
Dash and Shadow Step provide two important mobility tools. They allow the Rogue to move around enemies, escape dangerous attacks, and recover from crowd-control effects.
Dark Shroud is the main defensive skill and deserves significant investment. Its protection helps compensate for the Rogue's relatively light defenses.
Shadow Imbuement and Cold Imbuement give the build flexibility. Precision works as the Key Passive, rewarding critical hits with Marksman skills and supporting the build's burst-oriented playstyle.
Legendary Aspects To Use
Aspect of Trickshot is a key offensive choice because it adds extra arrows to Penetrating Shot. This greatly improves the skill when multiple enemies are positioned along the projectile's path.
Aspect of Expectant works with the three-hit Basic attack preparation. It increases the value of the next Core skill, making the Combo Point rotation even stronger.
Edgemaster's Aspect increases damage when the primary resource is high. Rapid Aspect helps generate Combo Points faster by improving Basic attack speed.
Aspect of Corruption supports the Imbuement side of the build by increasing effectiveness against Vulnerable enemies. For defense, Disobedience and Might provide armor and damage reduction that become increasingly valuable in difficult content.
Gear And Stat Goals
Dexterity should be one of the first stats considered when improving equipment. Critical Strike Damage and Vulnerable Damage are also useful because they strengthen the build's major burst windows.
Maximum Life and Armor should not be overlooked. High-level enemies can defeat an under-defended Rogue very quickly, even when that character has excellent offensive stats.
Resource Generation and Energy Cost Reduction can improve consistency by allowing the Rogue to use Penetrating Shot more frequently. A balanced character is generally more reliable than one built around damage alone.
Final Combat Routine
Begin combat with three Forceful Arrow attacks to build Combo Points. Against ordinary groups, activate Shadow Imbuement and fire Penetrating Shot through the largest cluster. Against elites or bosses, Cold Imbuement can provide stronger control and focused pressure.
After each major attack, reposition with Dash or Shadow Step as needed. Avoid standing in the middle of enemy groups, and always look for firing angles that allow Penetrating Shot to travel through several targets.
Overall, this base-game Rogue offers a strong combination of ranged damage, mobility, defense, and flexible Imbuements. Players looking to expand their equipment collection can also browse D4 items for sale when planning upgrades, while keeping the build's core strategy focused on Combo Points and Penetrating Shot.

The Main Advantage
The Super Watering Can is valuable because it focuses on speed. Its huge growth multiplier can make plants mature far faster than they would through normal watering.
For players working toward expensive harvests, this can save a significant amount of time. The tool is especially attractive when a garden contains crops that naturally require long growth periods.
Get the Most From Its Area
One of the can’s most useful features is its area-of-effect watering circle. Multiple plants inside the affected area can benefit from the growth acceleration.
Garden organization therefore becomes an important part of using the item. If valuable crops are grouped together, one activation can potentially affect several important plants. Players should consider positioning before using the tool instead of activating it randomly.
Save It for Rare Crops
The Super Watering Can should be viewed as a premium resource. Legendary and Mythic plants are usually the most suitable targets because their long growth times make the 300x boost particularly valuable.
Cherries, dragon fruit, sunflowers, pomegranates, and acorns can all be stronger candidates than ordinary crops. These plants can demand more patience, so speeding up their growth can have a meaningful impact on farming efficiency.
Players should generally avoid using the tool on apples, corn, tomatoes, pineapples, and cacti. These basic crops can already grow relatively quickly and rarely justify spending a rare resource.
Use Ordinary Tools for Routine Farming
A balanced garden can use different tools for different jobs. Sprinklers are useful for maintaining everyday crops, while the Super Watering Can can be saved for high-value plants.
This makes the farming process more efficient because players do not have to constantly spend their rarest resource. Instead, normal tools handle regular growth and the Super Watering Can provides a powerful boost when the situation calls for it.
Why Collectors Want It
The Super Watering Can is also easy to identify because of its rainbow design. Both the watering can and its AOE circle feature colorful changing effects during use.
Its unusual appearance, rarity, and powerful mechanics have helped turn it into more than a simple farming tool. For some players, owning the item is also a way to show their progress and collection.
The can may become available through special event shops or player trades, depending on the game’s current availability. Players preparing to obtain rare equipment can also consider GAG 2 Sheckles when planning their in-game economy.
For farmers looking for additional resources, buy GAG 2 Sheckles can be part of a broader preparation strategy. However, having more currency is only useful when it is spent wisely. The best results come from combining careful garden placement, automated watering, valuable crops, and well-timed Super Watering Can activations.
The Super Watering Can is one of the most powerful tools in Grow A Garden 2, offering a huge growth boost and a unique rainbow effect. Using it wisely on rare, slow-growing crops can greatly improve farming efficiency. Why Filtering Saves Time
Loot becomes more complicated as your character gets stronger. During early progression, almost any equipment upgrade can be useful, so it makes sense to keep many items visible.
Once you have a solid build, however, most common gear no longer deserves your attention. If every item remains visible, your screen can quickly become crowded after a large monster pack is defeated.
This visual clutter is more than an inconvenience. It can slow down looting, interrupt combat flow, and make valuable items harder to notice.
A filter removes that problem by deciding which drops should be displayed and which should be hidden.
Choosing NeverSink
NeverSink's filter series is a popular solution because it offers different strictness levels for different stages of the game.
Players starting a new character can use a Regular filter. It provides broad coverage and is less likely to hide something useful during the campaign.
Semi-Strict is a useful middle ground. It reduces some low-value clutter while retaining many items that can still be helpful.
Strict becomes increasingly useful once you begin mapping. Since your character usually has better equipment by then, ordinary drops are less important.
For advanced players, Very Strict and Uber Strict offer a much cleaner experience. These settings prioritize high-value drops and specific items that are relevant to established builds.
The Easy Online Setup
Following a filter online is usually the most convenient installation method. Open the Path of Exile 2 item filter system and find the NeverSink collection.
Select a version that fits your current progression and click Follow. Then start Path of Exile 2 and open Options.
Go to the Game tab and locate Item Filters. The filter you followed should be available in the dropdown menu.
Select it and return to the game. This approach requires very little technical knowledge and is ideal for players who simply want a working filter without managing files.
Online filters are also convenient because changes made by the filter creator can be incorporated into the followed configuration.
Manual Setup for More Control
If you prefer local files, manual installation is another practical option. Download the filter from a trusted source or create a customized version through a filtering tool.
Make sure the resulting file uses the .filter extension. Copy it into the Path of Exile 2 folder under your Documents and My Games directory.
Launch the game and open Options, followed by Game and Item Filters. If the file does not appear immediately, refresh the list.
Once the filter is listed, select it and test it in an ordinary area. This gives you an opportunity to see whether the filter is too strict or too loose for your current needs.
Progress Through the Strictness Levels
The most effective way to use a filter is to increase strictness gradually.
During the campaign, Regular is generally comfortable because players still need a variety of equipment. It also helps newcomers learn which item types are worth collecting.
After entering early maps, Semi-Strict or Strict can reduce unnecessary drops. You will likely notice that many basic weapons and armor pieces are no longer worth stopping for.
As your build becomes established, Very Strict can make farming considerably cleaner. Only items with meaningful value remain visible, allowing you to move through maps with fewer interruptions.
Uber Strict is best reserved for experienced players who understand their loot priorities. If you use it too early, you may hide items that could still benefit your character.
Change the Filter When Your Goals Change
Your filter should reflect what you are doing rather than remain fixed forever. Leveling another character, crafting a new build, or targeting specific equipment can all change which items are useful.
For example, an endgame character may have no reason to see ordinary leveling equipment, while a newly created character may need plenty of it.
It is also worth checking your filter whenever you move into a new phase of progression. If you are picking up almost everything it displays, increase strictness. If you repeatedly search for items that have disappeared, make the filter less restrictive.
Create a Faster Farming Experience
The best loot filter is one that quietly supports your playstyle. It should make valuable rewards noticeable without forcing you to constantly adjust settings.
Once properly configured, the filter can reduce the amount of time spent sorting loot and help you maintain a faster farming rhythm. This becomes particularly important during repeated endgame activities, where small efficiency improvements accumulate over many runs.
A clean screen also makes combat easier to read and lets you focus on movement, enemies, and mechanics instead of dozens of unnecessary labels. For players preparing crafting projects or market purchases, understanding the value of Path of Exile 2 Currency Orbs can further improve how efficiently they manage their resources.
Path of Exile 2 loot filters help players reduce screen clutter, spot valuable drops, and farm more efficiently as they progress from the campaign into endgame content.
