thanks or checking.

I've checked the xhr calls on the browser console, and I think I've detected the problem; thanks a lot for the hint.

I'm marking the topic as solved for now, while I do some more testing; if I find anything new related to Softaculous, I will let you know.

Kind regards,
Daniel]]>

Hi,
I bought a new server with trial webuzo dedicated server license. The installation and webuzo panel working perfectly. However, when I moved my file from the old server with (kloxo panel) to the new server with (webuzo panel) the website not accessible its giving 500 page error.

How to solve this problem? Thanks in advance

I encountered a similar situation when I moved my website from the old panel to Webuzo. Error 500 usually comes from differences in PHP configuration or file/folder permissions. You can check again:

Is the PHP version on Webuzo compatible with the source code (many old sites need PHP 5.x or 7.x).

Permission & ownership of the public_html folder (usually 755 for folders, 644 for files).

.htaccess contains a rule that is not compatible with Apache/Nginx on the new server.

In addition, the error log in /usr/local/var/log/ or error_log will show the specific cause. After I adjusted the PHP version and fixed the file permissions, the website worked normally.]]>

When installing Moodle 5.0.1 the progress bar freezes randomly ( sometimes at 20%, sometimes at 81% ... ).

The installation works well; the files are there, the database too, the app works ... everything seems fine. Even Softaculous, if open on a different browser tab, sees the installation after a while and lists it on the installations tab.

But the progress bar on the installation process never reaches 100%

I didn't see this reported anywhere; is there anywhere else I couldreport it to devs?]]>

<![CDATA[Website showing 500 error after migration from Kloxo to Webuzo]]> https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=20371&tpg=1#p59940 I recently set up a new server with a trial Webuzo dedicated server license. The installation went smoothly and the Webuzo panel is running without issues.

However, after transferring my website files from the old server (running Kloxo) to the new one (running Webuzo), the site is no longer accessible and shows a 500 Internal Server Error.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Lyly]]>

Hello,
My hosting provider, HawkHost, offers RVSiteBuilder, Softaculous, and another similar tool.

I'm trying to create my own website and host my existing free WordPress blog, along with a gallery. Initially, I tried RVSiteBuilder, but I struggled with it and couldn't figure out how to add certain features or import my WordPress blog. Frustrated, I moved on to Softaculous.

I've decided to import my blog to my domain and use a WordPress theme that gives it the feel of a real artist's website instead of just a blog. However, I'm having trouble getting Softaculous to work properly as well.

Right now, when I visit my domain, it shows a default HawkHost page indicating that no files have been uploaded, along with options to log into my cPanel.

I accessed Softaculous in my cPanel and tried to install WordPress. The first time, I set the directory to "wp," which created a new WordPress installation. Unfortunately, this meant I couldn't import my old blog, and it was installed under mydomain.com/wp instead of directly on my domain. I managed to export/import my blog, but realized I was still seeing the HawkHost default page when typing just my domain.

After uninstalling the Softaculous WordPress app, I tried again and believed I successfully uploaded a new WordPress blog directly to my domain without the "/wp" suffix. However, it wouldn't let me import my old blog, saying files were already present. Whenever I typed my domain in a browser, I still saw the HawkHost page.

I've installed and uninstalled the app three or four times, but it never recognizes that I've uploaded anything. I even tried importing without clicking install first, but that resulted in an error message every time.

I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong? And why when I've installed the app does my domain not show as having anything loaded to it?

I suggest reaching out to your hosting provider for assistance, as the problem is most likely due to incorrect information you’ve entered.]]>
