The Pagelayer team has released version 2.0.5
The following is a list of changes :

1) [Bug-Fix] In some cases, in-line editor selection was not working. This is fixed.
2) [Bug-Fix] There was some PHP warnings. This is fixed.
3) [Bug-Fix] In some cases, template import was not working properly. This is fixed.

We will be launching many more changes in the upcoming version.
We would also like to thank the WordPress community as we have reached 400000+ active Pagelayer users.

in the automatic updatemail with the changes from backuply server update to 1.1.8, there is a line:

"- [Improvement] Backup deletion is now disabled by default."

Please can you elaborate what this concretely means?  And how to enable it again?

I usually don't use FTP and I am not sure if there was an issue with before but I have some billing mods that need it that I just installed. FTP access is blocked for somereason but port 21 is open in the csf firewall.

I'm not sure why yet. I'm looking into it.
