The only real limitation is that directives like proxy_cache_path, fastcgi_cache_path, and open_file_cache must stay global. I cannot figure out what is going on. it seem like at the op maybe I need a row with a background image to make up the header and then insert a title. BUT when I try that the image is very short in the row. The full image does not show in the row.

Any suggestions?

Before adding a new row manually, I’d suggest checking whether your theme already controls the banner globally.
