Thanks for raising this. The larger binary size is due to static linking and bundling of additional libraries/tools (like OpenSSL, PCRE, zlib) directly into the binary for portability and compatibility across environments. We’re not doing anything hidden or malicious — just aiming for stability and ease of deployment.

You're welcome to build it yourself from source using our exact parameters if you'd prefer full transparency.

If those two VPSs were only used for PowerDNS and no longer needed, deleting them is fine. Just be sure to update any domains pointing to them first to avoid DNS issues.

The Webuzo Team has released version 4.5.3 which has some features or improvements and bug fixes.

[Feature] Added setting to set custom webmail port.

[Task] Added setting to customize the primary hostname in mail settings for use in email Received headers.

[Improvement] Roundcube email headers previously showed localhost in mail HELO, now set to use the server hostname.

[Bug-Fix] The Dovecot authentication process retained a connection to a deleted emails.db file during database rebuilds, causing email login failures. This is fixed.

[Bug-Fix] Email was suspended during user unsuspend. This is fixed.

[Bug-Fix] Email filters created with numeric names was not getting deleted. This is fixed.

[Bug-Fix] Auto Responder was not preserves subject with non-ASCII characters. This is fixed.

[Bug-Fix] Setting up non-existent email address forwarder was delivered mails to the default account. This is fixed.
