Is there any task generated related to suspend VPS in task logs ?
Check if cronm is stuck on your server.
ps aux | grep cronm
Is the VPS under any suspend limits, such as bandwidth overuse or resource restriction?

Let us know.]]>

I am facing an issue with my Virtualizor panel. I have created 4 VPS in total, but for the last two days, I noticed that 2 of them are getting automatically suspended every morning (around 10–12 AM).

The strange thing is that only the VPS with cPanel installed are being suspended. The other VPS are working fine.

Can you please help me understand the reason why these VPS are being suspended automatically? Is it related to resource usage, auto suspend settings, or something else?

I checked the panel, but I could not figure out the exact cause. Kindly guide me on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you.]]>

The email you mentioned is a summary of which script packages have been updated. This is sent daily via Softaculous cron.

It looks like you are referring to the Email Settings page in Softaculous enduser panel.

Since these emails are sent to server admin only the setting to disable these emails is from WHM -> Softaculous admin panel -> Settings -> General and look for "Update Settings" section.

There please uncheck the following checkbox :
Notify Script Updates via Email

and save the settings.

Once you do this you should not receive the above mentioned emails. ]]>

<![CDATA[How to stop Softaculous email alerts to admin? The email settings page isn't it...]]> https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=20391&tpg=1#p59997 I have a new dedicated Ubuntu server through Namecheap.
It uses cPanel and of course Softaculous for management.
The problem is that I get multiple email alerts per day to my admin address about software updates etc.

I already know about the Email Settings page on the Softaculous settings, but this page doesn't seem to be the problem.

When the server was new, this page was not populated. My email address wasn't there, the field was blank. I wanted to uncheck the options, but I was not allowed unless I added an email address to the field. I figured I'd add the admin address that was receiving the emails anyway, and then uncheck the "update notifications" but it didn't help.

So, I have had that "update notifications" unchecked for a couple weeks, but I still receive these emails daily "from Softaculous":

I see that last line about Cron jobs, but the only 2 cron jobs in my cPanel for Softaculous are backup jobs for what I think aren't even current installations but leftover from when I migrated from a different server?

Code
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php -d
disable_functions=""
"/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous"/cli.php --backup
--auto=1 --insid=586_95286

So, I don't think that cron job is causing these emails either.

I dunno what else could be sending these emails?]]>
