I would like to correct my words, 2.8.1 is still a release candidate.We will be launching a new stable Virtualizor update 2.8.2 which is expected to be released in a weeks time.

However you can update to 2.8.1 on a non production server for testing, by changing the update settings in Configuration.

Firstly, 2.8.0 was a BETA release and 2.8.1 is a stable release so we suggest you to please update all your servers to 2.8.1.

No, even your slaves should be updated to the master version.(Though it can communicate but it cannot handle the slaves)
