Introducing SecLayer 0.9.0 — Now in Public Beta https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=22163 <![CDATA[]]> https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=22163&tpg=0#p62374
That's the job SecLayer was built for, and today we're opening it up to everyone. SecLayer 0.9.0 is live in public beta.

What SecLayer does

SecLayer is a complete security and firewall layer for your Linux server — the always-on protection that watches your traffic, blocks the attackers, and gets out of the way of everything else.

- A serious firewall, configured sensibly by default. Allow the traffic you want, block everything else, manage it all through simple IP lists — permanent, temporary, or automatic.

- Real-time brute-force protection. SecLayer watches your login attempts — SSH, mail, your control panel, and more — and automatically bans anyone hammering the door, before they get lucky.

- DDoS and connection-flood defense built in. Sudden spikes in connections or bandwidth abuse get throttled and blocked automatically, without you having to be at your keyboard.

- A dashboard you'll actually enjoy using. A clean, modern control panel to see what's happening and manage your protection — fast, responsive, and works great on your phone when you need to check on things on the go.

- Block/Unblock IPs. With just one click/one command block / unblock IPs.

- CLI Support. Complete Command Line support with all the features accessible via CLI.

No separate agents to babysit, no bolt-on tools to reconcile. One dashboard, one set of rules, one story for your server's security.

Already protecting your favorite control panel \
SecLayer is live today inside Webuzo, integrated directly into the panel you already use — log in once, manage your firewall right alongside everything else. Support for the rest of the major control panels is on the way throughout the beta, and SecLayer works perfectly well on its own too, with no panel required at all.

Coming from CSF? Bring your setup with you.

If you're currently running CSF, switching to SecLayer doesn't mean starting over. Our built-in migration tool reads your existing configuration and brings it into SecLayer for
you — your allow lists, your deny lists, your settings, carried over automatically. And it's completely safe to try: your existing setup is left untouched on disk the whole time, so there's nothing to lose if you ever want to go back.

Built for the servers you're actually running today
SecLayer is designed to run cleanly on modern Linux distributions, including the newest releases (AlmaLinux 10) hosting providers are adopting right now — no waiting for "support" to catch up to what you've already deployed.

This is a beta — and we want your feedback
0.9.0 covers the core of what SecLayer is built to do: firewall, brute-force protection, and DDoS defense, all through one dashboard. It's stable enough to run today, and
we're actively building the next layer on top of it — deeper threat intelligence and more control panel integrations are already underway for upcoming releases.

Being in beta means your voice matters right now, while we're still shaping what comes next. Install it, put it to work, and tell us what you think.

Try SecLayer 0.9.0 today, and help us build the security layer your servers deserve.
