It was trying to allocate it through DHCP. I set the IP address manually in the VPS and after that I was able to access the VPS.
I forgot to mention that I moved the server behind a NAT.

This is not what you are looking for. It just blocks an IP for use with vps.

The new IP address of Virtualizor is applied but the old IP address is visible everywhere in the webgui.

If that is not enough I would use "Master Proxy only" settings in the Masters configuration.
Besides that... did you change the IP Adress in DNS for the node hostname?

So far I edited /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-em1 and restarted the network on Virtualizor and I'm able to access the interface on the new IP.
But I'm not able to access the virtual machine console running on Virtualizor. VNC still shows the old IP address and fails to connect.
Any advice is welcome since is an important machine and the users can't work.
