I had a master server with a slave. I found the slave offline since 2 days. The master had his version updated from 3.19 to 3.25. I resetted the API keys on the master and tried to sync but no sync. I then updated the master API key in slave universal.php but it won't do. I tried to remove to add it back and I forcibly removed the slave. I updated the version to 3.25 on the slave. Now when we try to add it back we have the error saying that IPs of VPS on the slave server already exist:"the following IP(s) already exist on the master .

How can I proceed to add this slave again please?

PS:

No slave record on the master UI

Universal.php on master:
$globals['slave'] = 0;
$globals['masterkey'] = '';
$globals['masterip'] = '';
$globals['key'] = '....M2jrH9DlYs74JCx...............'; // do not exist on master
$globals['pass'] = '.....gvtHzAGVhdhqk................'; // do not exist on master

Universal.php on slave:
$globals['slave'] = '1';
$globals['masterkey'] = 'xigYQDNq1CHIAc.............'; // exists on the master
$globals['masterip'] = 'x.220.19.177';
$globals['key'] = '.....ptkP9FW6kOlp.................'; // exists on the slave
$globals['pass'] = '......HZ7QDz8N....................'; // exists on the slave

Thanks

The error means old IP records from the slave still exist on the master.
Delete those IPs from the master’s database (ips or servers table), restart the web service, then re-add the slave using the current master key from universal.php.
Ensure both are on version 3.25 before syncing.]]>

<![CDATA[Pushing staging site to live site]]> https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=20428&tpg=1#p60089

Hi, when I originally imported my wordpress website via softaculous, I imported into a sub directory. Since then, I manually moved the website into the root directory.
Now I am ready to push my staging website to my live site, but the software is pushing the stage site into the original sub directory which no longer exists. How can I edit the location of the live site so that I can push the stage site to the correct location - the root directory?

example:
original website import: /public_html/subdirectory
current live site location: /public_html/
staging location: staging.domain.org

This is the issue:
Push to live wordpress - Current staging site will be pushed to your live site: /public_html/subdirectory

I am unsure what setting would be causing it to not show the correct document root. How can I edit the live site location so that the stage site will push to the current live site location?

Thanks,

You can fix this by editing the installation path in Softaculous. Go to your staging installation, click “Edit Details,” and update the “Directory” field to point to /public_html. That should make the push target the root instead of the old subdirectory.]]>

I got to thinking, can I just better organize my shared hosting to do this. Then I took a deeper dive of Softaculous and what it can help me with. Low and behold, you can do all of the above with it. Not as "put together" as some of the other services I took a look at, but with an extra domain I have around i think I can put together a good staging platform for my clients.

Paying for shared hosting is something i've always done. It's something that I just goof around in. However, looking at all these apps organized in Softaculous, i'm thinking maybe I can get more use out of it.

I'm probably late to the party. Wondering what other apps people are using in Softaculous for work or business ? There are so many apps that I never thought about hosting myself vs another cloud service I pay for.]]>

In one hosting account with 5 cms, everytime I execute import.cmd.php, one installation in re-added, even if it is already listed.
Is a prestashop 1.7.8.7. I don't know what to do to prevent this installation being added endless times.
I have more hosting accounts and I follow the same procedure and this one is the only affected.]]>

I have problems installing on plesk, The execution of pre-install.php has failed with the following message:
No PHP found with ionCube installed. Please install PHP and ionCube extension to continue installation.

Method 1: Install via the PHP Settings page (Recommended for newer Plesk versions)
For Plesk Obsidian 18.0.49 or later, you can install the ionCube Loader directly through the graphical user interface. This method applies to PHP versions provided by Plesk.

1.Log in to your Plesk control panel.
2.Go to "Tools & Settings".
3.Under "General Settings", click "PHP Settings".
4.Click the PHP version your website uses (e.g., PHP 8.2).
5.On the PHP version settings page, click "Manage PECL Packages".
6.In the "Install package" field, type ioncube_loader, and then click "OK".
7.Return to the "PHP Settings" page and click the PHP version your website uses again.
8.In the "Extensions" list, check the box for the ioncube_loader_lin_X.X.so option (or the appropriate file for your OS).
9.Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "OK" or "Apply" button to save the changes.
10.Restart your web server (e.g., Apache or Nginx), or restart the PHP service in "Services Management", for the changes to take effect. ]]>

<![CDATA[Website Loading Slowly on One Region Only — Is It a CDN Problem?”]]> https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=20433&tpg=1#p60082 My site loads super fast in the U.S. but really slow in Asia and Europe. I’ve already enabled Cloudflare CDN, but there’s barely any improvement.
Could this be due to DNS propagation, CDN misconfiguration, or the hosting server’s physical location? Any insights from others who’ve faced similar regional speed issues?]]>
