That's the only way to add vps on WHMCS order.
You can add an order on WHMCS panel and assign 'vpsid' custom field the ID of the vps present on Virtualizor panel.

  Is there a way to assign few already running VPSes, configured in Virtualizor to WHMCS account ?

The first that comes on mind is to provision new one and change VPS ID in database, but it seems more like workaround and not a real solution.
