You have to disable ebtables on the hypervisor (main machine)

haproxy1 1.2.3.4  (master - 101 priority)
haproxy2 1.2.3.5  (backup - 100  priority)

I installed keepalived on both the servers and configured the vip as 1.2.3.10

if i ping the vip 1.2.3.10 (remotely) i get request timed out
