Hello all,

I've just installed virtualizor in a dedicated physical machine and create one LVM volume group, as stated in the documentation.

Code

  --- Volume group ---
  VG Name              primary
  System ID
  Format                lvm2
  Metadata Areas        1
  Metadata Sequence No  7
  VG Access            read/write
  VG Status            resizable
  MAX LV                0
  Cur LV                2
  Open LV              0
  Max PV                0
  Cur PV                1
  Act PV                1
  VG Size              <3.00 TiB
  PE Size              4.00 MiB
  Total PE              786431
  Alloc PE / Size      5632 / 22.00 GiB
  Free  PE / Size      780799 / <2.98 TiB
  VG UUID              LnrMkY-9zy8-VRm1-2tRY-m63k-Erfv-U5ZfBP

I've added the LVM path to /dev/primary inside Virtualizor configuration. When I try to create a new VPS, the installer stops at 40% with the message below:

Code
There was an error in mounting the VPS storage There was an error in creating the VPS

What seems to be the issue?

Note that the LVM VG is created based on an iSCSI drive mounted on the virtualizor server.

Is there anything I'm missing?

Thanks

Can you create lv in this vg manually?
example:
Code
lvcreate -L 20G -n test primary

Yes, tried creating LV, mounted LV, even did a write test, all fine!

Strange. If you enter the new vps details... the storage under "Disk Space" is shown appr. 3000GB free and under the "Storage/List Storage" Menu the primary vg is shown correctly?

Hi all,

Sorry for the late reply, but with help from the Virtualizor support team we were to nail it!

Issue: HDD sector size, it must be 512B. I've reconfigured the iSCSI LUN from the storage and voila, everything works as expected!

Thank you!
