Topic : Unable to access VMs via IP (KVM)

Posted By: astorey88 on December 16, 2019, 8:55 am
Hi
Posting here because the ticket support is so incredibly slow I've been waiting for 3 days for a "dev" to look into this.We have a primary IP allocated to our server and a /32 subnet. The KVM bridge has been setup however when you try to ping the /32 subnet IP address it does not ping at all.I have attempted to add this IP address into the viifbr0 using IPADDR2 etc. and although this allows the IP to ping, when you setup a VM it does NOT route to the VM, it just routes to the host. Meaning that when I try to SSH into what I think is the VM, it's actually trying to SSH into the root SSH.I've looked high and low and I cannot find any clear documentation about how to resolve this. I have searched the virtualizor documentation and there's not a single mention of this but I find it hard to believe no one has come across this before.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi,

The network setup was not appropriate for vps.
It seems /28 subnet solved the issue.

Please update in ticket if you still face issues.
