Is it still not possible to install softaculous whyle the mysql database is not localhost but a external server?

Hi,

Yes you can use an external MySQL server. You need to set that server as default MySQL server and then Softaculous will create databases on the remote server.

Hi,

You can set it from ISPConfig. You will need to refer to MySQL docs for the same.

Once you set default MySQL server in ISPConfig Softaculous will auto detect it and create the database on appropriate server.

If i look in my system config
(main config)

I have the option for the default web server and default database server
The database server is the remote server (from day one)
But still softacoulus is installing to loclhost.
