Topic : how to active new extension installed?

i have install imagick.so, but the extension not active after apache restart. i also been put extension=imagick.so under dynamic extension.
my php version 5.6. how do this...?

i am confusing?

Did you manually compile the extension against imagemagick and php56 located at /usr/local/apps ?

If yes, this should work

How to compile in another directory?

Compiling it in another dir can lead to further issue.
