Topic : Not getting error notifications.

All,

It has been awhile since I have messed with PHP/MySQL. While following along with
a few lessons online I am not getting the error the presenter is getting. Our code is
identical.

The error message is "Notice: Undefined index: name in C:\blah\..." on line 23.

What I want to know is did something change with the latest versions of PHP or MySQL? I looked under #tab_warnings on phpMyAdmin and I do not see any of the warnings deactivated/checked. I know what my issue is to correct the problem that is
generating the warning.

I however am concerned to why I am not getting the same error message. This isn't the first time for this message either, there were other encounters to where I should have received it. I don't get an error at all. ...But I should.

The specs for the version of AAMPS I am running.

Database server:

Server: 127.0.0.1 via TCP/IP
Server type: MySQL
Server version: 5.6.30 - Source distribution
Protocol version: 10
User: root@localhost
Server charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
Web server

Apache/2.4.20 (Unix) PHP/5.5.35 mod_wsgi/3.5 Python/3.5.1 OpenSSL/1.0.1p
Database client version: libmysql - 5.6.30
PHP extension: mysqli Documentation
PHP version: 5.5.35
