is there an api that i can call from an actionhook in our order process to auto setup one package. wordpress hosting package for example?

If you have CURL or allow the use of fopen to Web Pages in PHP then you can send POST DATA to Softaculous which will do the required.
Do you have CURL or allow the use of fopen ?

Yes Curl and fopen are active.
Is there information how to call the installs?

Yes you can place our logo.
Also which Package do you want exactly to be installed.
We will need to create POST Data for it as each package has its own set of data required.
Is WordPress the app you need preinstalled ?

One last question.
In what folders should this be installed in ?
Is it individual folders like wordpress, joomla etc
or simply the root.

Are all three softwares to be installed.

Just one package for one hosting account. Magento Hosting...
The package must be installed in public_html (directadmin)
