Hi Softaculous Team,
Just a curious question, I couldn't find an answer on the forums or website.

bbPress is v1.2 in Softaculous, and it shows as not being updated for 2 years.
But according to Wordpress it is version 2.6.4 and updated in January 2020.

Is this a case you just haven't gotten around to update it?
I'm just curious.

I don't need it, I just wasn't sure why it hadn't been updated to the new version is all.
Just a curious mind is all.

Hi,

Previously bbPress was introduced as a separate script and we had added it. Since past few years they evolved as a WordPress plugin instead of an independent package hence it was not updated in our repo.

We have now decided to provide it as a WordPress package with the plugin installed.

Bonjour on me demande un nom de domaine est_ce obligatoire de souscrire un abonnement pour télécharger wordpress et quel path utiliser car il me semble que softaculous s'installe automatiquement et dans quel paramètre aller

On a new site I recently used the Softaculous bbPress installation and it worked excellently. Many thanks for the update.

Quick question, what's the difference between the bbpress installer on Softaculuos and the bbpress Wordpress plugin?

I already have a Wordpress built website so before I install one I'm just curious to know do they differ in anyway?

Hi,

There is no difference. You can install plugin in existing WordPress installation and use it as well.
