 cron job command being truncated, Cron job losing characters (5 Replies, Read 65446 times)

I have a command for cron job:

let "round_no=$(<public_html/cgi-bin/currentDD.txt) + 1" ; if [ "$(date +\%Y\%m\%d)" -ge "20230314" ] ; then echo "DD set to " $round_no ;echo $round_no > public_html/cgi-bin/currentDD.txt ; else echo no DD set $round_no ; fi

But when I edit I get:

let "round_no=$(

The characters from the '<'  are being removed

Hi,

The fix is included in Webuzo 3.6.7 which was launched in Release branch on 30th Dec 2022 :

If you have root access to the server you can update to the release branch to get the latest package. Webuzo admin panel -> Settings -> Update

and then execute the cron command to get the latest package :
https://webuzo.com/docs/admin/immediate-update/

We will be pushing this version to stable branch by 10th Jan 2023
