Hello,
I have a cPanel Web Hosting and created a site (e.g. https://glpi.example.com/) to host my GLPI instance. I used cPanel "MultiPHP INI Editor" to create a custom php.ini settings to GLPI (like extending PHP memory to 128mb). But when upgrading the GLPI using Softaculous and running the GLPI installer, it didn't detected my changes there anymore. I had to access the cPanel "MultiPHP INI Editor" and click on "Apply" for the to be applied (they was still there, but unapplied).

It also seems to remove all custom settings from <GLPI_ROOT>\.htaccess file during upgrade.

Hi,

The original zip file of GLPI includes the .htaccess file in their package hence when Softaculous unzips that package it overwrites the file.

If you upgrade manually you will still need to re-apply the changes.

We will check from our side how we can merge these files to not overwrite the settings.
