Hi,
I have a question about an error I get. Sry i'm not a native speaker. If I want to specify an FTP server as external place I always get the error message "Could not resolve domain name". The FTP server works, I can easily connect via FileZilla. I have the domain name as follows "subdomain.domain.toplevel" in Softaculous The port is different from the default port 21. Such as ftp://subdomain.domain.toplevel, subdomain.domain.toplevel:myPort, ftp://subdomain.domain.toplevel:myPort does not work. What can be the reason? I use Softaculous of my websites operators through Plesk Many thanks for your help |

Hi,
Are you using "subdomain.domain.toplevel" as the server host while adding the backup location or "ftp://subdomain.domain.toplevel:myPort". You just need to fill in the FTP server IP or "subdomain.domain.toplevel" in server host field.
