Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	I just downloaded the latest version of XEN, then I followed your instructions to the letter. I am not able to log into Virtualizor using "root details". Is there a secret handshake, or do I just have to hold my mouth a certain way. We are looking to use XEN with Virtualizor, BUT things are not looking so good at the moment. From the GUI on http/4084 or https/4085 using root with root's password this is the error that I get "The following errors were found : The username or password you entered is incorrect." I tried to change the root users password to something else, but still did not work. You can skip the "check you capslock key"... I cam able to ssh into the server with ssh I know the password is correct. So, What now? TwD

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	I installed XEN using the media from here: http://downloadns.citrix.com.edgesuite.net/10175/XenServer-6.5.0-xenserver.org-install-cd.iso I installed Virtualizor using the following instructions: http://www.virtualizor.com/wiki/Install_Xen I was not able to log in with the root account SO, I started over. I installed XEN Again using the same media: I installed Virtualizor using these other instructions that required me to disable one of the repos, that has the same effect. TwD

Group: Member Post Group: Elite Member Posts: 381 Status:	Hi, Quote I installed XEN using the media from here: http://downloadns.citrix.com.edgesuite.net/10175/XenServer-6.5.0-xenserver.org-install-cd.iso The ISO is for installing Xenserver and not XEN, so that means you have installed XenServer on your machine. Quote I installed Virtualizor using the following instructions: http://www.virtualizor.com/wiki/Install_Xen The guide you have followed is for installing Xen and not Xenserver, if you wish to install Virtualizor on a XenServer you will need follow the guide in the link below : http://virtualizor.com/wiki/Install_XenServer ----------------------- Regards, Virtualizor Team http://www.virtualizor.com
