Hi,
It looks like Ioncube is not loaded in your PHP binary. You can check it by executing the following command : /usr/local/bin/php -v Please install ioncube and then try to install Softaculous and it should work fine. If you want we can install ioncube and Softaculous for you. wget http://downloads.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86.tar.gz
tar zxvf ioncube_loaders_lin_x86.tar.gz mv ioncube /usr/local/ it says : Add reference to your php.ini file (pico /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini) zend_extension = /usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so but this folder doesnt exist, where do i have to add this line? |

Hi,
You need to search for the php.ini file it depends on server to server. You can execute the following command to find the php.ini : Code /usr/local/bin/php -i | grep php.ini Also it looks like you are using PHP 5.6 so you need to add the following line : Code zend_extension = /usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.6.so ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |

Sir does that mean , that this tutorial is out of date? and if yes why is there not a new tutorial:
https://www.softaculous.com/docs/Installing_Softaculous_in_Direct_Admin by the way the reason why i am not opening a ticket is, that i want to learn it on my own, because i dont want to write ticket everytime i do a new installisation on my server. and no i stil doesnt work. i wstill dont know what i am doing wrong.. |

Ioncube should be installed to be able to install Softaculous. It looks like you referred to some external guide to enable ioncube which might be outdated.
