Howdy,

Another simple question, I'm sure...

I'm trying to insert images into a blog post so that they appear at 1024px wide, but even when I use the custom sizing at 1024px wide, they keep on expanding to take up the full width of the screen.

Any clue what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me.

Worked it out!  :xd:

Drag in a Rich Text field and insert the images there! Too simple!

I was trying to insert single images and stack them below each other, where they kept on getting larger to occupy the full width of the screen!  :)

Just saw your post about placing a featured image in a blog post using the 'Rich text' function...

I tried this using this method but the photo does NOT appear anywhere in the text window or on the blog area...
(trying to use image size 960x360)

Is there something else I am missing?

Thanks for any help.

Just Fixed it!

What I was missing is to set the Rich Text editor from 'visual' to 'text' using the tab on the right side. THEN click the 'media' button and insert image as 'featured image'.

Thanks.

G'day all,
I'm just revisiting this as i[m a bit lost with what has happend to the featured images in my blogs..

The original blogs were posted using the procedure mentioned in the above posts. Inserting the featured image into the rich text field etc...

Now it appears I can't edit (or even access) the photos in the existing blogs. Nor does the featured image method work anymore for posting new blogs...

What has changed? Or am I just forgetting something?
Thank you.

Also... I can't even find the 'featured image' option when I insert an image now.

Thank you for any help.
