Hi,
We will try to make some changes to our code to change the permissions by itself if the owner of the file is the same as the user. We will see if we can push this in the next version of Softaculous. ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |

Hi,
We evaluated this but Softaculous runs as a user in the control panel and if the user does not have write access to a particular file it is not possible to even chmod the file hence you will have to manually make the file writable and then start the restore process again. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. ----------------------- Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool |
