When I try to install The Bug Genie via Softaculous, it fails stating that the software requires PCRE 8.0 or later.
The server does have PCRE and I can install the script manually.

Hi,

Sir we are checking this bug at our end and will fix it asap.
Until then you can use the attached patch.

Hello Team,

Softaculous has just released and updated installation of the bug genie
version 3.2.4, but even this update has the same issue. In the thread
you linked to, the last comment (which is relatively old) there's a
patch for the older version, but apparently they never bothered to
implement it in the main software. Could you please contact then and let
them know this bug is still unsolved?

Sorry for the inconvenience. The patch was missed in the last version of Bug Genie. We have now updated the package and you should get the latest package via CRON in 24 hours.

Sir the updated package was launched when I made the last post. You can execute the CRON command to get the latest package :
