Topic : cancel migration

Posted By: vanderheyde on January 24, 2019, 11:13 pm
Hi,

It'd be nice to have an option to cancel a running migration. Since the default is 100Mbps, I've accidentally start the migration at a low speed multiple times. Being able to cancel and restart it would be great.

Second suggestion:
Is it possible to remove the 100Mbps default speed (or allow the default to be changed) during a migration. I use dedicated nics between the servers, so throttling it to 100mbit by default is counterproductive.

thanks,
vanderheyde

hi jevingala

is there a way not to

1= cancel a migration from GUI , ? if not from gui can we do so trough SSH ?

2= is there a way to allow more than 100mbps for migration ( i tried a standard migration not HA ) and it take for ever as it throttle to 100mbps when there is a 10gb interface for data moving..!

Hi,

You can search for migration process on source server :

ps aux |grep migrate

and kill that process and also remove the target vps from panel which was created during migration.

2= is there a way to allow more than 100mbps for migration
>> You can use 10000 as migration speed on migrate vps page.
