Hi

When I try to create a VPS on a new CentOS 7 KVM node I setup a few days ago, it says 'there was an error in setting the root password of the new vps'. This happens on all templates such as Ubuntu, CentOS etc. The templates are fully downloaded fine, starting up the failed VPS just shows 'localhost' as the hostname and all the default template settings.

The issue was because of less space on your "/tmp' directory which was causing guestmount to fail while changing the VPS password.

We have increased the space and now its working fine.
We have also replied to your ticket.

Hi,

The ticket is related to VPS network issue.
As the details provided in the ticket were of the end user we could not debug much as the NoVNC was also disabled for that VPS.

We will need the admin panel details to check the IP pool details.
We have also replied to your ticket.

Hi,

The IP pool was not added on virtualizor panel so the issue.

We have added the IP pool and add all your IPs to the pool and the test VPS is now reachable.

For the other Ips you will need to generate MAC from the OVH panel and add them in virtualizor.

Here is the guide for configuring OVH IP pool in virtualizor:

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

One question: What about explaining what you have done instead of doing all on your own and handling everything with support tickets?

I want to know how exactly you fixed that issue, as I'm allowed to get support. Check my Account License (Forum seems to be your Account Management at Softaculous :D).

Hi,

As Asim mentioned sir, we removed the unwanted files from /tmp as the guestmount is not able to mount VPS disk  when /tmp is full.
