Good morning,

I'm looking to integrate update mechanism on my Ansible playbook for cPanel servers. I want to compare local version to latesetst available version.

I've found commands on documentation to get installed version and to update the Softaculous server. but how to get latest available version (using wget, curl, or something like that) ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can find a file scripts.ser which is a serialized array of all the scripts available in Softaculous and it also includes the latest available version. The scripts.ser file can be found at :
/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/enduser/scripts.ser
