Topic : Apache 64 bit and Ampps

Posted By: marcuseby on August 16, 2015, 8:23 pm
Hi guys, just wondering what I would need to do, to integrate an apache 64 bit windows version into ampps.

(need to overcome the memory limitations of 32 bit)

If I downloaded it myself, put it inside the ampps directory, what would I need to change as far as the config files, to have the 64 bit version working instead of the 32 bit?

And also, would I be also be able to do the same thing with php 32 binaries?

Thanks

Marcus

I am running ampps 3.5 but the php is 32bit, so I was wondering if I could get the files to - so I can upgrade the php/apache to 64 bit.

In ampps 3.5 the php version is 7.0.6 - is there anyway you manually can update that to latest versions?
