Uncomplete installation of Mantis?, Missing directories in Mantis installation (2 Replies, Read 9074 times)

I have installed Mantis Bug Tracker using softaculous, in order to upgrade from a previous version that was installed on the site.

The Mantis upgrade information indicates that to migrate to a newer version you need to run a certain script in the admin directory. However, I cannot find that directory after the installation.

I raised the issue in the Mains Bug Tracker forum as an issue (refer to mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=28093)

The response was that the install script is most definitely part of their standard distribution (refer to github.com/mantisbt/mantisbt/blob/master/admin/install.php), so that it must be a softaculous problem.

(sorry for not providing full links, but I am not allowed to post them)

Can you please check this out?

Thank you.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. Are you trying to upgrade manually ?

If you make new installation through Softaculous then we delete admin directory after installation. As its mentioned in Mantis documentation here : https://github.com/mantisbt/mantisbt#installation

You can upgrade your installation through Softaculous as well.

We are making small change in upgrade. Let us know if you want to upgrade.

Hi,

We have made upgrade changes in Mantis. Now you can upgrade Mantis from 1.2.x to latest through Softaculous.
