Quick question... AMPPS is installed and working fine on my Mac, and I can access it normally via PHPMyAdmin. For learning purposes, I'd like to access mysql via terminal commands, and via the sql prompt. Is this possible? If so, any ideas how?

Sorry to hijack this, but I have the same question. It looks like the AMPSS mysql binary is located here:

/Applications/AMPSS/mysql/bin/mysql

But when I connect, there are no databases other than the info schema (but I have installed multiple working wordpress installations)

Is it installed elsewhere?

Thanks

Ok it was me being dumb (forgot to select user). To the OP:

/Applications/AMPSS/mysql/bin/mysql -u root -pmysql

Copy that command in bash to get to mysql command line.
