Topic : Backup deletion disabled by default

Hello,

in the automatic updatemail with the changes from backuply server update to 1.1.8, there is a line:

"- [Improvement] Backup deletion is now disabled by default."

Please can you elaborate what this concretely means? And how to enable it again?

Disabling backup deletion” means the Delete Backup button is turned off, so users cannot delete backups from the interface. This is to prevent accidental loss of important backups.

You can enable it again with:

backuply --enable-delete-backups

and disable it with:

backuply --disable-delete-backups
