All I get is an "Internal Server Error"

How common is this. Ampps 3.6 just does not work?

I have installed Ampps 3.6.
- got Internal Server Error
- left the install till the next day and tried it again and it worked
- I successfully installed WordPress to a test domain
- shut down the Ampps server for the night
- Every attempt to start the server fails
- when the browser opens the server error is shown below

The Ampps server will not work??

I delete the install completely by dragging the Ampps foldder into the trash.
Then reinstall. But the same thing happens over and over.

I have done this 3 times now.

Configuration:
- iMac Yosemite 10.10.5
- Ampps 3.6
