Topic : The URL and DIRECTORY name do not match

Hello,
I have moved my site from root (public_html) to the folder (with Duplicator Pro, all works fine). I cannot update the folder path in Softaculous it says:

The following errors were found :

The URL and DIRECTORY name do not match

I need to backup a new folder not the original one. How can I achieve this? :-(

it is Wordpress site, not MU

Hi,

If the path was updated into a sub-directory the URL would also have been updated e.g. domain.com/sub-dir

So you will need to update the path as well as URL and then you should not face the issue.

I have moved another site (the same server btw) and I do not have anything after / it is domain.com nothing else, so what you say is not true.

you can run your site from folder, having your address as domain.com. basic things.

Yes offcourse I understand we can host a domain in any directory.
