Topic : Social Share Buttons

Posted By: NHowardLathrop on May 23, 2019, 3:57 pm
Recently started building a new website. Everything was going great until I added the Social Share Button option.  The options presented for this great feature are FaceBook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest.

Problem 1: Effective 2 Apr 2019 Google+ ended its personal version of Google+, so this option in the Social Share Button is useless. How can I remove it?

Problem 2: There is no option for Instagram. Is this an option that can be added to the Social Share Button?

Thank you in advance for your help!!

Hi,

Social Share button is for sharing the current page on the given website. If you want to add your Social Profile then you will need to use Social Buttons. You can check the given documentation here:

Do let us know if you need any other information.

I know that the Social Share button is for sharing the current page on the given website - that is what I want. However, the given websites offered as default (cannot find a way to change the defaults) include Google+ which is defunct and does not include Instagram.
