Topic : Default website image for social sharing

Posted By: ls402 on April 19, 2021, 3:06 am
Hi - I built my site with Sitepad and I'm wondering if there is a way to set a default image for the website homepage for social sharing purposes? I can't seem to find it. Does it have the capability? I attached an example of an image that defaults when sharing. My homepage is an image carousel.

Thanks for the help!

Under the settings menu option you can upload the website icon image in the General section. Be warned that when I did it, this uploaded icon was displayed on each page under my top menu.

Oh, yeah - I don't want to have it on each page either. Hmmm

Did you read this article: https://yourblogworks.com/social-share-image/ to add Meta Tags which you can customize at each web page?
Did try to include a photo and text in a link as showed here: https://pagedart.com/blog/linking-images-in-html/ so search engines can include the photo with the link?
