Softaculous <![CDATA[Run AMPPS from USB on Windows AND Mac]]>
I need an webserver environment that can be used on both Windows and Mac easily. It doesn't not matter if i need to install twice (windows and mac version) as long as it can use the same resources (localhost, databases etc...).

<![CDATA[After upload missing image data]]> I have a server application on A2 hosting written in nodejs.
When I try to upload an image with size over 600kb, the server application only receive a little part of the image that is uploaded. If I upload a small image of f.ex. 100 kb, everything is working well.
The image is uploaded with POST.
For check I have the same server application on another linux server in another data center and also the same server local on my PC.
With the 2 other servers there is no problem uploading the image.
I have increased the POST limit size in PHP config file with webuzo, but there is no difference. That should either be the problem, because the default limit is 8Mb and the image is 600 kb.
Are there any other limits on the server?]]>

<![CDATA[Understand how Softa.. manage website]]>
I can install Joomla at my host that use Softa.. but because i have already public_html p_h holding my Joomla 3.7.5 with lots of extensions, i install in a sub folder within p_h. With this i can update to 3.8 at the Jm backend of the new instance of Jm.

I actually wanted Softa. to manage my existing p_h because i am having difficulty update jm to 3.8 at the current p_h backend.

Can i ask Softa.. to manage my existing p_h with all its extensions installed? If not is there a workaround. Thanks first.

<![CDATA[won't let me set a static IP]]>
I did the following to fix it:

1. Exited out of the webuzo console into a terminal console.

2. Used ifconfig -a to figure out what network interface was being used (eth1)

3. Created a Centos style script at /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1
here's an example
PHP Code

="System eth0"

4. restarted the network with # service network restart

5. Now machine is connected (temporarily) to internet until the next reboot

6. Opened up webuzo settings using a web browser

7. Set the correct IP in the main webuzo settings

8. Rejoice at having my server working again.

Hope it helps someone else who faces this.]]>

<![CDATA[won't let me set a static IP]]>
I migrated a working VPS with webuzo from one of my hosts to another.

When I got it running on the destination, I used the main Webuzo screens to set the new static IP.

However, *It won't let me set any static IP*.

I do not see a way to attach a screenshot here - but it shows me the blue screen with the gray box that gives me the option of YES or NO (see screenshot).

I can select YES but when I try it does absolutely nothing! I see a brief blink of the cursor at the lower left then it is just as if nothing happened. It just sits there.

Is there a way to set static IP via the command line or other method, since this is not working?

I wanted to make a query, previously softaculous was updating normally, the actual version is 4.9.2 in the server, 2 weeks ago I stopped doing it, then modify the time to do it and put this:

This is correct in this way, because the only thing that changed was the hour

Thanks for your help.
