Topic : Insert image full width?

Posted By: HappySnappers on December 15, 2017, 8:58 pm
I'm hoping this is a simple thing, how do I insert an image to span the full width of a page, but have control of how high it is?

For example, I want to use a range of my own photographs as breaks to the page, covering the entire width, from side to side, but I want to have control over how high those sections are, as they will have text appearing over them.

Is there a way of dimming the images? So the text appears clearer? Or do I need to do that in Photoshop first?

I was able to do this in the Welding theme, but have switched themes now, going with a white based theme rather than black for a cleaner appearance.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You will first need to drag and drop Paragraph widget from the left side panel. Insert your text in paragraph widget.

After that to insert image as a background to cover the full width and height please click on the 3 dots appering at the top left side corner of that row then select background as image and insert image.

There in no way to dimming the image in SitePad, you will need to do that first in image editor.

Thanks a million! It's much appreciated, and simple to do, as I suspected!  ;-D
